About

From a young age, Jasmin's passion for the arts, particularly photography, was evident. Capturing life through a lens, from early nature shots on dog walks to portraits of loved ones, quickly became more than a hobby, with her first competition win with the RSPCA in 2016 solidifying her professional aspirations. This love for capturing moments extended beneath the surface as well; beginning with the Seal Team at age 8, Jasmin's diving journey led to Open Water certification and the integration of her photographic passion. Progressing from a GoPro to a Canon and now Nikon in a Nauticam housing, she qualified in underwater photography, cementing its importance in her future. By 2021, at age 18, she had achieved her Divemaster qualification and now boasts over 250 dives with diving continuing to provide surreal global experiences and shape her exciting future.

Jasmin also has a passion for moving image, sparked by her Media Studies in college, which led to producing a music video as well as a short film at UEA with the BFI course. She has since produced two more short films, including one about diving, available on her YouTube channel. Her photographic achievements include runner-up in the 2020 World Oceans Day competition (inspiring an underwater calendar for a conservational trip), winning the 2023 Red Sea exhibition's macro prize with her "Shallow Stare" image, and participating in two 2024 exhibitions, showcasing her "Malaga's Hidden Gems" project at the Institute of Photography at Falmouth University and marine photography at Bristol's Center Space gallery. With these accomplishments, she is eager to continue sharing her work globally.
