Throughout the years Jasmin has explored a series of themes and ideas artistically and photographically. This page features a collection of projects which have been significant to her development.
2021 Underwater Calendar
During 2020 Jasmin chose 13 of her images to compile into an underwater calendar to raise money for a charitable trip. This sprung from her coming Third place in the Youth category of World Oceans Day photography competition.
This art project began as an exploration into beauty when things are disguarded. Looking at the details most won't want to see and to understand their importance in the ecosystem. This project was very hands-on over a number of many months resulting in Jasmin producing a large piece of work during her final art exam.
An art project sparking her love for the intricacies, Jasmin looked at the strange and somewhat gruesome details of daily life. Ending the project with a 4-course meal photo book.
In 2019 Jasmin took up the opportunity to contribute to a BFI film course. during the week-long course she took part in master classes as well as directing, shooting and editing a film in a group of 3. As a finalle the film was presented against others in a public viewing.
During A-level media, Jasmin was tasked with creating a music video to appeal to a certain audience. After contacting Jessie Maxwell about the video he proceeded to promote it across his social media platforms.
RSPCA Photography Competition
In 2016 Jasmin took part in an RSPCA pet photography competition based in Sheringham, Norfolk. This is the first competition she won, with the outcome being her image used on cards that were sold in the shop in the town. She also won a hamper of dog toys for her pet. this was her first recognition in the photographic world setting her up for a career in photography
